We are thrilled to announce two extraordinary additions to our leadership team: Crystal Francis, joining as Secretary, and Lajuanna Robinson, stepping into the role of Treasurer. Their dedication, expertise, and shared passion for empowering women and uplifting our community make them invaluable assets to our mission.

Crystal Francis: Secretary

Crystal Francis is a dedicated community volunteer committed to making a difference in the lives of others. As a stay-at-home mom who’s never truly “at home,” she actively contributes her time to her church, local community, and school district. Crystal serves on the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for her district, where she supports caregivers of children with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

Crystal is also a member of AdvocaSAY, a nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness about disabilities and empowering caregivers to advocate for their loved ones. As a mother to children with different abilities, Crystal brings a wealth of personal experience and compassion to her advocacy, helping families navigate the challenges of caregiving.

Outside of her volunteer work, Crystal cherishes time with her family, enjoys traveling, and loves supporting minority-owned small businesses. Her dedication to the community and her organizational skills will surely help elevate the Women Lift Project’s impact.

Lajuanna Robinson: Treasurer

Lajuanna Robinson brings a dynamic blend of financial expertise, wellness advocacy, and community leadership to her role as Treasurer. After two decades in the finance industry, Lajuanna followed her passion for empowering others, founding Whole Body Fitness w/ Lajuanna to help individuals transform their lives through fitness and faith.

A committed advocate for chronic illness prevention, Lajuanna has actively participated in the Black Women’s Health Study since 1995 and shares her knowledge through fitness education at local organizations. With her financial background and commitment to health and wellness, she is perfectly equipped to manage and optimize the Women Lift Project’s financial strategies.

In her personal time, Lajuanna enjoys walking through Nichols Arboretum, spending quality moments with loved ones, and finding inspiration through her faith, guided by Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”

Looking Forward

We couldn’t be more excited to have Crystal and Lajuanna join the Women Lift Project board. Their unique perspectives and dedication to serving others will help drive our mission to empower Black women entrepreneurs and strengthen our community.

Please join us in welcoming Crystal Francis and Lajuanna Robinson to the Women Lift Project! Together, we’re lifting women and creating opportunities for future generations.
