Empower Your Business with the Women Lift Project Grants
The Women Lift Project is committed to elevating Black women-owned businesses in Michigan. If you're at the helm of such a venture, we're excited to offer you the opportunity to apply for one of our bi-annual Lifts—grants designed to boost your business.
Your business must meet the following qualifications:

At least 51% owned by a Black woman or women, or a Black person/people who identifies/identify as a woman/women.

Registered and actively operating in Michigan for at least 1 year.

Willing to attend one mentorship meeting offered by the board. These meetings are offered in May and September.

Has a business bank account and can show at least 3 months of statements.​

All applications must be submitted online
To apply, we request that any interested and qualified business owners:

Provide a 3-minute video introducing yourself and your business. Please share how you intend to use the funds.

We will award Lifts (micro-grants) in May and in September, each in the amount of up to $2,500.

You will be notified of the board’s decision in April and August.
